Premium extension work begins long before the first tape, bond or weft row is applied. A professional must understand the client’s natural hair, carrying capacity, density, chemical history, scalp condition, lifestyle, maintenance habits and intended result. Only then can the correct method, length, weight, strand size and colour combination be selected.
Our training connects product knowledge with real salon practice. Students learn why two clients requesting the same length may require very different gram plans, why the same strand count can produce different fullness, how attachment size changes weight distribution, and how poor sectioning or tension can turn a technically completed service into an unsuitable one.

Murat Kolukırık
Founder of Sach & Vogue Hair · Hair Extension Specialist Since 1986
Murat Kolukırık is the founder and owner of Sach & Vogue Hair and has worked professionally with hair extensions since 1986.
He established his own company in 1990 and has developed decades of practical experience in hair-extension application, product development, colour selection and professional salon supply.
Since 2011, he has led the company’s international wholesale and retail operations, supplying professional human hair products to hairdressers, salons and private clients across 56 countries.
Murat has represented Sach & Vogue Hair at professional hair and beauty exhibitions in Germany, Dubai and Australia, including Beautyworld Middle East, TOP HAIR Düsseldorf and Hair Expo Australia at ICC Sydney.
Every academy programme is personally delivered by Murat Kolukırık. His training combines long-term hands-on application experience with the technical knowledge of a manufacturer and international professional hair supplier.

Method Education
Professional Training Across Key Extension Systems
Tape-In Hair Extension Training
Tape-in education includes the differences between 4 cm, 3 cm and narrow 2 cm tapes; preparation of oil-free natural hair; section thickness; sandwich alignment; pressure; placement and concealment.
Students learn why only a very fine veil of natural hair should sit between the two adhesive surfaces. The tapes must align and bond to one another through the section. If the section is too dense, water, shampoo, conditioner and oil may enter the unsealed area and contribute to slipping.
- No flat iron or direct heat is used to seal tape bonds.
- A tape-in extension press is used to apply even pressure.
- The hair is not washed during the first 24-hour bonding period.
- Conditioner and oil are kept away from the attachment area.
- Removal, cleaning, retaping and refitting are taught as part of the service cycle.
Keratin Bond Training
Keratin training covers professional sectioning, tool temperature, natural-hair strand size, bond-to-hair ratio, scalp distance, bond formation, placement in visible zones, safe removal and rebonding.
Students compare Flat Tip, U-Tip, V-Tip and I-Tip or micro-bond formats. The aim is not to memorise one hand movement; it is to understand how bond shape, attachment size, strand weight, hair density and placement affect comfort, durability, concealment and service time.
Micro Capsule and Nanofilament Training
Micro attachment work requires a different approach to planning, timing and pricing. A smaller bond normally carries less hair, so the same total weight is divided into more individual strands. This creates a longer and more detailed application, but it can offer greater placement precision in selected fine or visible areas.
Training explains the difference between standard keratin and micro capsule formats, strand-weight calculation, natural-hair carrying capacity, spacing, concealment and the practical logic of Sach & Vogue Hair Nanofilament application.
Weft Hair Extension Training
Weft education covers row planning, foundation construction, head shape, sewing, tension, stitch consistency, comfort, removal and refitting. Students also learn why machine-weft edges must be secured and sealed after cutting to reduce the risk of unraveling.
The module includes diagnosis of unsuitable or damaged weft installations. Corrective education is essential because a student must be able to recognise when a row is too tight, poorly positioned, too heavy for the natural hair, inadequately concealed or no longer safe to retain.
Advanced Consultation
Hair Extensions and Topper Integration
Hair extensions do not solve every density concern. A professional must know when crown coverage requires a different solution.
When a client has thinning or insufficient coverage at the crown, adding length alone may leave the most visible area unchanged. The consultation must evaluate the crown separately and determine whether a topper should be integrated with the extension plan.

Corrective Education
Learning to Correct Previous Extension Work
Professional competence includes knowing when an existing installation is unsuitable, how to remove it safely and how to redesign the service around the client’s actual needs.
A suitable case study may document the removal of an unsuitable weft installation, reassessment of the natural hair, replacement with narrow 2 cm tape-in extensions and integration of a custom topper to improve balanced crown coverage. The educational value is not simply the before-and-after result; it is the reasoning behind each corrective decision.
Important Practical Requirement
Live Model Requirement
Students who wish to complete a live-model application must bring a suitable model with them to the training.
Sach & Vogue Hair Academy does not provide, arrange or source live models.
Clear photographs of the model’s hair must be sent in advance so that suitability for the selected method can be assessed before the training date. The model must be available for the agreed training hours and must have suitable hair and scalp conditions for the selected application.
All professional hair, tools and application materials used during an approved live-model session are included in the course price.
Advance approval is mandatory. Send front, back, left-side, right-side and root/scalp photographs in natural daylight where possible.
Disclose the model’s current hair length, density, previous extension use, bleaching or chemical treatments, recent colouring, hair loss and scalp conditions.
Live-model practice cannot be guaranteed unless the student provides a suitable model and receives advance approval. If the approved model does not attend, arrives late or is found unsuitable because relevant information was not disclosed, the academy is not responsible for providing a replacement model. Where possible, practical education will continue on a mannequin head or professional training material.

Company History
A Working Manufacturer, Not a Classroom-Only Academy
Students train within an active professional business where hair is selected, prepared, applied and supplied to clients worldwide.
After many years of operating from Istanbul, Sach & Vogue Hair opened a dedicated production facility in Yalıkavak, Bodrum, in 2020, shortly before the global pandemic.
Following the disruption and uncertainty created by the pandemic, production and sales were consolidated at the company’s established Florya location in Istanbul.
In 2026, Sach & Vogue Hair relocated its production, professional sales and academy operations to Fethiye.
